Joel Jack Wood

Joel Jack Wood, age 44, of Northfield, OH, passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2024.

Joel was born September 4, 1980 in Akron, OH to Robert and Barbara (Brewer) Wood. Joel will be remembered as a beloved Brother, Uncle and friend. Joel was a passionate outdoorsman, cat lover, history buff, chef and proud blue-collar worker. 

Joel is survived by his parents; his siblings, Gretchen (John) Brokloff, Colleen (Brad) Wertz, Emil (Rita) Wood, the late Corey Wood, the late Darrell Wood, Mia (the late Ray) Tomaneng; treasured nieces and nephews, Camille (Blair) Trammell, Jacob, Jack, and Claire Brokloff, Audric, Eden, Nolan, and Barrett Wertz, Alani, Axel, and Axton Tomaneng.

Private family service will take place. 

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to his alma mater, St. Vincent - St. Mary High School, 15 North Maple Street Akron, OH 44303.
