John William Walker Jr., 77, of Brady Lake, died Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at his home.
He was born September 26, 1936 in Brooklyn, NY to John W. and Violet (Boo) Walker. He was member of the Star Lodge #187 F&AM, Yusef Khan Grotto, Akron Court #5 Order of the Amaranth where he presently serves as Royal Patron, Justice Conclave #8 Order of True Kindred where he currently serves as Advisor, and Billow Chapter O.E.S. He will be remembered as a great Ritualist and aspiring actor.
He is survived by his wife, Helen (Jasinski) Walker; children, Debra Varga of Middletown, NY, Susan (Alan) Smith of Port Jervis, NY, David Flannery of Goshen, NY, Jacqueline (Jay) Soechting of Kingston, NY, and Kevin (Jacqueline) Flannery of Kent; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren, sister, Janice (Lee) Conklin of St. Petersburg, FL; and brother, Bruce (Denise) of St. Petersburg, FL. He was preceded in death by his son, James; and brother, Robert.
Services will be held at a later date. Bissler & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory are handling the arrangements.
