Joseph M. Novak

It is with deep sorrow that we share the passing of Joseph M. Novak, 87, on June 13, 2024. He is known to his family, friends, and neighbors as Joe-knowing many from the cradle to the grave.

He was born to Joseph and Mary (Markovonovich) Novak, both from Yugoslavia/Croatia.

Joe proudly served his country in the United States Army, 11th Airborne Division, serving in Germany during the Korean War.  He remained steadfast in his patriotism and commitment to the Army and his country throughout his life.

Joe married his high school sweetheart, Katherine (Urich) Novak, who preceded him in death.  Their legacy lives on through their five children, Kathy (Stephen) Capps, Nicholas Novak, Andrew Novak, Annette (Frank) Berger and Timothy (Paige) Novak; also leaving behind many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In honoring his wishes, Joe will be cremated and services will be private for the family.
