Karen Sue Stutzman, 69
Karen joined her mom and dad in Heaven, after passing on July 8th at Robinson Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her family
She was born March 27, 1942, at home in Kent to Woody and Thelma (Fox) Stutzman.
Karen was one of the original 5 students who were taught in a house on Morris Road by Mrs. Evans. This was the foundation on which Happy Day School was built. She spent lots of years at Portage Industries. She was happy after that spending her time at Coleman Senior Services. She was always ready for dancing and a party. She bowled and loved to shop and most of all she loved spending time with her family and never forgot a birthday, anniversary or holiday.
Karen is survived by her brother, Glen (Pauline) Stutzman Sr.; nephew, Glen Jr. (Michelle) Stutzman; niece, Kim (David) Waterhouse; great nephews, Ryan, Cody, and Dusty; great nieces, Heather (Shawn), Ashley (Andrew) Young, and Katie Waterhouse; great great nieces, Ryleigh and Baylee Young; and great great nephew, Zach Stutzman. She loved these little ones so much.
A memorial of Karen's life will be celebrated 6:00PM Thursday, July 14th at Bissler and Sons Funeral Home, 628 West Main Street, Kent, with Pastor Ken Baker officiating.
