Karl J. Curtician, 73, of Kent, died Monday, May 2, 2016 at Kent Healthcare Center.
He was born August 12, 1942 in Sharon, PA to Cornell and Marie (Bertolasio) Curtician. Karl retired as a Supervisor at General Tire & Rubber Company. He owned Roberto's Bankshot Tavern in Cuyahoga Falls; and retired from Sbarro's Pizza at Chapel Hill Mall. He recently worked part time at Drug Mart in Stow.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou (Rearick), whom he married on March 11, 1999; son, Steve (Cindy) Curtician of Canton; step-daughter, Cathy (Rob) Beavers of Massillon, step-sons, David (Angela) Boerner of Canton and Mike (Cindy) Boerner of Imperial, MO; daughter-in-law, April Curtician of Ravenna; twelve grandchildren; one great granddaughter; first wife, Joyce Whitlock of Ravenna; brother, David (Debbie) Curtician of Diamond; and sister, Judith (Larry) Schuler of Hermitage, PA. He was preceded in death by his parents; and son, Jeffrey Curtician.
Memorial services will be held 6:00 PM Tuesday, May 10th at Riverwood Community Chapel, 1407 Fairchild Avenue, Kent, with Pastor Cole Tawney officiating.
