Kathryn J. Ginther, 60, of Kent, died Sunday, January 9, 2011 at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland.
She was born August 25, 1950 in Ravenna, to Norman and Corinne (Gardner) Witt. She retired from Kent State University as Clerical Coordinator in Residence Services. She liked to travel, garden and read. Kathy especially liked to go to the beach and spend time with her grandsons and family.
She is survived by her husband, Dennis Ginther; sons, Jeffrey (Elizabeth) Ginther of Locust Grove, GA and Gregg (Amanda) Ginther of Kent; grandsons, Andrew, Carter and Jackson Ginther; father, Norman Witt of Ravenna; sisters, Barbara (Ziggy) Wieclaw of Akron, Norma (Terry) Scarlett of Kent and Laura (Douglas) Fleming of Edinburg; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Corinne (Gardner) Witt.
Calling hours will be held 6-8 PM Thursday, January 13 at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory in Kent, where funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, January 14.
