Lake Milton

Kaye Lee Rydbom, 85, of Palmyra Township went home to be with her lord and savior on Monday February 17, 2025 at home with her daughter by her side. She was born May 8, 1939 in Ravenna, Ohio to Olive (Trott) and Chalmer Frinkley.

She met the love of her life Robert J Rydbom at Moon-Glo Skating Rink in Kent, where they skated into marriage on December 7, 1957.

She enjoyed her time with her husband on their mini farm raising goats, ostrich, emus, and growing and selling garlic. She also enjoyed golfing, bowling and she loved her Cleveland sports teams. She was an avid fan that never missed a game. She traveled to Florida for the winters with her husband where they liked to look for shark teeth on the beach. Attending local music concerts a few times a week was her favorite outing, especially to see the Chardon Polka band.

She is survived by her son, Kim (Louella) Rydbom of Deerfield, and daughter, Julie Croop of Lake Milton. She was a loving grandma to her grandchildren, Collin Croop, Jensen Croop, and James (Monica) Dueley.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Robert J Rydbom.
