Kenneth A. Lumeyer, 90, of Stow, died Thursday, September 23, 2010 at his residence. He was born March 6, 1920 in Akron, to Arnon and Dora Elizabeth (Ridley) Lumeyer. He was a veteran of the Army during World War II. He retired from Ametek/Lamb Electric in Kent as a machinist. Ken also worked as a professional Taxidermist for over 60 years, was a member of the NRA for over 50 years and the Stow American Legion. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and any other outdoor activity. Ken had the uncanny ability to solve problems and enjoyed working with his hands, often for the benefit of his friends. He is survived by sons, Fred Lumeyer of Cincinnati and Jim Lumeyer of Tulsa, OK; daughter, Connie (Yash) Fozdar of Edmond, OK; seven grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha (Justice); and brother, Arnon W. Graveside services will be held 1:30 PM Monday, September 27 at Standing Rock Cemetery.
