Kevin Friedman
October 2, 1959 — August 20, 2018
Kevin James Friedman, loving son, inspirational brother, and comforting uncle was born October 2, 1959, and joined his parents W. Harry and Catherine Friedman in eternal rest on August 20, 2018.
Kevin will forever be missed by brothers, Harry W. (Susan) of Ravenna, Steve (Cindy) of Ravenna, and Greg (Becky) of Amherst; sisters, Doris (Joe) Slade of Massillon, Betty Warnick of Streetsboro, and Kay Wright of Eastlake; twin sister, Karen (Rick) Unkefer of Kent; and 21 nieces and nephews. Kevin will also be missed by his many caregivers and by Bert. We were all "attached" to him.
In his youth Kevin enjoyed bowling, competing in Special Olympics and shaking hands with everyone he met. He accepted everyone he encountered with his infectious smile.
Friends and visitors will be received by the family at Ravenna First Church of God, 237 New Milford Road, Ravenna, on August 28 from 5:00 to 6:00 pm followed by a celebration of life. Cremation has taken place at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory in Kent. Final resting will be at Standing Rock Cemetery in Kent at a private event.
