Leah Kunsman Bradstock

July 10, 1918 — November 16, 2011

Leah Kunsman Bradstock passed away November 16th in Frederick, MD.

Leah was born July 10, 1918 in Kent, where she lived until 2001. She was the daughter of Metta Marsh Kunsman and Alvin J. Kunsman. and the granddaughter of Ira Marsh.

She was married for 48 years to Merle C. Bradstock, who passed away in 1991.

She graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1936 and Carnegie-Mellon University.

Leah was a charter member of Coterie III, and Gamma Epsilon chapter of Delta Gamma at Kent State University. She was a member of the Kent United Church of Christ, the Elm Garden Club and she loved to play bridge. She was a former member of the board of the Kent Historical Society.

She is survived by two daughters, Janet Bradstock of Frederick Maryland and Linda MacDougall of Lancaster, PA; two grandsons, Prentice MacDougall of Lancaster, PA and the Rev. Matthew MacDougall of Youngsville, PA; and two great grandchildren, Ilee MacDougall and Gage MacDougall of Lancaster, PA.

Graveside services will be held at Standing Rock Cemetery on Tuesday, November 29th at 11:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Kent Historical Society, 237 East Main Street , Kent, Ohio 44240.
