Lloyd T. Perrin

October 13, 1928 — November 6, 2018

Lloyd was born in Indianapolis, IN to Eunice and Thomas Lloyd Perrin October 13, 1928. His parents moved to Springfield, OH. He was mainly raised by his maternal Grandparents, the Piersalls. His grandmother was Elizabeth and grandfather always referred to as Pop, His family moved to Cleveland, Oh where he attended Bolton Elem, Patrick Henry Jr. High, and Central High School. While at Central H,S. he was a member of the Track Team and won State championships.
Lloyd attended Bowling Green University and then served honorably during the Korean War in the U. S. Army. He was mainly stationed in Germany.
He worked for General Electric; as a postal worker; drove cabs and was a Paramedic. The medical field seemed to be his niche, helping others, and he became a State certified nursing assistant and phlebotomist. He was a nurturer and enjoyed helping people. He also had his company, LAGNIAPPE, doing home repairs.
He enjoyed gardening, working outdoors, singing in the Church Choir ( at St. Mark and St. Phillip Lutheran) his beautiful Baritone voice also contributed to an Achapella group.
Lloyd and his wife Hasani were together for 30 yrs. enjoyed extensive travelling, movies, bar-b-que-ing and socializing with friends and family. They always attended Church together and enjoyed the warmth of Trinity until Hasani's health home bound her. He was a faithful and loving care-giver.

He is survived by his beloved wife: Akeba Hasani. His children: Bridget , Lloyd III and Marvin Perrin. His grandchildren, siblings: Michael(Bridget), Toni, and Lindsey. A host of cousins, nieces, and nephews. In-laws, Church families and loving friends.

It's been a good year: we've enjoyed Hasani's improving health; the Perrins had a family reunion in Springfield where he enjoyed being the patriarch of his family, celebrated being together for 30 years, and a small "surprise" 90th Birthday party. He was laughing with a friend when our Lord called him Home, suddenly. He'll be dearly remembered and greatly missed.
