Marcia A. Kuder

Marcia A. Kuder, 58, of Cuyahoga Falls, died Thursday, July 5, 2018, in Akron.

She was born December 25, 1959 in Ravenna, to the late James J. and Martha C. (Horning) Whalen. She grew up in Kent and will be remembered as a loving sister, aunt, mother and friend to many. She worked as an accountant for Akron Public Schools, attended Kent Roosevelt High School, and graduated from Kent State University. Marcia never missed an opportunity to support her three children; she was deeply proud of their accomplishments. She went to every concert, performance, and sporting event they had.

She is survived by her husband, James Kuder, whom she married on September 15, 1984; sons, John Kuder of Akron and Andrew Kuder of Cuyahoga Falls; daughter, Emily Kuder of Cuyahoga Falls; brother, Larry Whalen of Akron; sisters, Lyn (Mark) Miller of Smithville, Cathy (Wayne) Wilson of Kent, and Sharon Greitzer of Kent; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Calling hours will be held 2-4 & 6-8 PM Tuesday, July 10 at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home in Kent. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday, July 11 at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home with Father Richard Pentello officiating. Burial will be held at Standing Rock Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Archbishop Hoban High School
