Margaret Chionchio Angelo, age 91, of Kent, OH entered into her final sleep on March 13th, 2024 surrounded by her children. She was born August 31, 1932 in Ravenna, OH to parents, Guy and Fannie Chionchio. She graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1950, and went on to work at Ferry Machine Co. and later as a Dental Secretary.
She met her soul mate and the love of her life, Peter Angelo, whom she married on June 28th, 1952. They went on to start a family of two children, Steven and Jodi. Margaret was devoted to her family, and expressed her love through cooking.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and her loving husband, Peter. She is survived by her son, Steven (Gina) Angelo and their children, Christopher (special friend Jeni), Andy (Jess), and Ben (Liz); her daughter, Jodi (Rick) Haught and their children, Nicholas (Erin) and Jon (Taylor); and six great grandchildren, Graham, Luke, Xander, Lyla, Charlotte, and Kallan. She is also survived by brothers, Matthew (Joyce) Chionchio and Micheal (Bonnie) Chionchio; and many nieces and nephews.
The family extends sincere gratitude to the staff and residents at the Renaissance of Richfield for their love and friendship, and to the staff at Traditions Hospice for the respect and compassionate care provided to their mother.
Memorial Mass will be celebrated by Fr. Michael McCandless 10 A.M. TUESDAY March 19th at Holy Family Catholic Church, 3179 Kent Road, Stow, OH 44224. Margaret will be laid to rest at Stow Cemetery and after, her family cordially invites all to continue in fellowship in the Lower Church Hall at Holy Family. For out of town family and friends, mass will be livestreamed. Please visit www.holyfamilystow.org and select “Video Resources” under the menu. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Margaret’s name may be made to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society ( https://givenow.lls.org ) or to the Holy Family Endowment Fund .
