Martha Jean Tisdale

Martha Jean Tisdale, 68, of Aurora, passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at David Simpson Hospice House.  She was born in Akron on June 14, 1956 and received her Bachelor's Degree, Master’s Degree and PhD from Kent State University.  Martha was employed as a clinical psychologist with Metro Health System for many years.  She enjoyed cooking, decorating and reading and was a caregiver to many.  She will be deeply missed and always remembered by those who knew and loved her.

Martha leaves her loving husband Steven Neuhaus; son Samuel Neuhaus; siblings, Dee (Joe) Madonia, H. Kelly (Amy) Tisdale and Steven (Connie) Tisdale and her stepsister Joan (Rick) Thompson.

In honoring her wishes, Martha will be cremated and a private memorial service for the family will be held at Bissler and Sons Funeral Home and Crematory.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made, in her name, to the Greater East Ohio Alzheimer’s Association.
