Michael Alan Bise, 64, of Ravenna, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 27, 2025. He was born in Columbus, OH on January 24, 1961 to Bob Waltenbaugh and Mary “Mitzie” Bise.
Michael proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from 1980 to 1988. Some of his employers include: Boeing, Transdigm, Inc., Aerocontrolex, Argo Tech Corp. and Eaton Industrial Corp, where he retired from in 2021 following 10 years of employment.
He attended Redemption Chapel and enjoyed riding his motorcycle, photography, bicycling, reading, The Beatles, Michael Stanley Band, Nightwish and baking bread. He made amazing homemade pizza and was a fan of the Miami Dolphins. Michael was very proud of his two daughters and loved them wholeheartedly. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary “Mitzie” Bise; father, Doral Bise; grandmother, Lillian E. Styche; and brother-in-law, Stormy Bowersock.
He leaves his daughters, Brittany (Mike) Cope and Meaghan Bise (Tyler Hubbard); grandchildren, Teagan and Declan Cope; brothers, Raymond (Joanie) Bise, Daniel Bise and Darren Bise; sisters, Tami Bowersock, Laura Medlin and Darla (Eric) Rowe; niece Tara (Charles) Goss and nephew Craig Medlin.
In honoring his wishes, Michael will be cremated and laid to rest at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery on Friday, March 7, 2025 at 1:45PM.
