Niessner, Norbert, 85, of Kent, died peacefully on Tuesday, December 4.
Born in Johnstown, PA to Herman and Jennie Niessner. Norbert and his wife Margaret moved to Ohio and started a career at General Electric. Norbert then worked and retired from AMETEK in Kent. He loved the outdoors and could always be found outside with his children or grandchildren having an adventure together. Norbert was always game to have some fun and loved to go sled-riding or ice skating with all the kids in the winter and hiking or swimming in the summer. He was a loving husband, and a wonderful and fun grandfather who adored his grandchildren and had always put his family first. Everyone who was touched by him will miss him dearly.
Norbert joined his wife Margaret who passed away on November 16, 2018. He is survived by his children, Timothy (Meredith) Niessner of Punta Gorda, FL, Carrie (Steven) Schreckengost of Kent, and Matthew (Evelyn) Niessner of Charleston, SC; grandchildren, Benjamin (Monique) Niessner, Kevin and Leah Schreckengost, Anthony and Michael Musolino, and Beautiful great-granddaughter, Kaidence Niessner.
