Patricia "Meme" Lee

Surrounded by her loving family, Patricia "Meme" Lee, 84, was called home to the Lord, Friday February 15 at 5:28 PM to be with her husband, Bill, who died May 28, 2001. She passed at Fisher-Titus Medical Center following a lengthy battle with emphysema and COPD.
Patty was born on September 13, 1928 in Meyersdale, Pa. the daughter of the late Lloyd and Margaret (Kemp) Imler. On September 30, 1948, she married Simon W. "Bill" Lee in Meyersdale. They moved to Ohio in 1955 with their two small daughters. She lived most of her adult life in the Kent area and moved to Norwalk in 2003 following the death of her husband.
Patty was a stay at home mom who took great pride in a clean household and a loving home. She was a wonderful seamstress and a great cook. After her husband's retirement, their great passion was golf. In her later years, she loved playing cards with friends and going out to eat. She was a loving grandmother to her five grandchildren and loved being G-G to her four beautiful great granddaughters. Her favorite past time was supporting her family and their friends in any of their endeavors.
Patty is survived by daughters, Linda (Tom) Hall of Kent and Janet (Tim) Campana of Milan, one sister, Helen Hook of Lake Mary, Florida; five grandchildren, Lindsay (Joe) Carter of Stow;,Porter Hall of Berkley, CA, Christy (Jim) Leimkuehler of Avon Lake, Dan (Heather) Campana of Leesville, S. Carolina, and Stephanie Campana of Cincinnati; and four great-granddaughters, Ella, Ava, and Lyle Carter and Kara Leimkuehler.
Including her husband and parents, Patty is preceded in death by an infant daughter, Donna Rae,;two brothers, Dick and Lloyd Imler; and one sister, Mary Swanhart.
Friends may call on Monday from 4-7 PM in the Groff Funeral Home and Crematory 1 S. Main St. Milan, Ohio. Patty then will be taken to the Bissler and Sons Funeral Home 628 W. Main St. Kent, Ohio where friends may call on Tuesday from 12 PM until time of funeral services at 1PM in the funeral Home. Burial will be in Standing Rock Cemetery Kent, Ohio.
