Paul W. Carmer, 64, of Kent, died Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at Western Reserve Hospital in Cuyahoga Falls.
He was born December 13, 1950 in Cuyahoga Falls, to William House and Ruth Jessie (Warner) Carmer. Paul was a true and caring husband, father and friend who loved his rescue dogs and was an avid fisherman.
He is survived by his wife, Tami L. (Truex) Carmer, whom he married on July 21, 2000; daughter, Billie Carmer of Akron; grandsons, John Chester of Akron and Christopher McQuillen of Akron; mother, Ruth (Carmer) Lyberger of Cuyahoga Falls; brother, Rod (Joanne) Carmer of Cuyahoga Falls; sisters, Sandy (Gary) Neff of Lakewood, CO and Patti Samples of Kent; step-brothers, Dennis of Columbus, John of Cuyahoga Falls and Mark Lyberger of North Canton. He was preceded in death by his father, William House Carmer; and step-father, Rollo Lyberger.
Calling hours will be held 5-8 PM Monday, May 11th at the Cuyahoga Falls Presbyterian Church, 2819 Hudson Drive Cuyahoga Falls, with funeral services following at 8:00 PM with Pastor Ross Slaughter officiating. Inurnment will be held at Standing Rock Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to BAGS (Basset Hound Rescue), 3555 Anderson Avenue, Minerva, OH 44657.
