Paul A. Gray

Paul Andrew Gray, age 61, of Kent, OH, passed away suddenly on Friday, September 13, 2024, at UH Portage Medical Center.

Paul was born on August 4, 1963, in Akron, OH, to Glen and Donna (Shields) Gray.

A graduate of Tallmadge High School, Class of 1981, Paul went on to study Electrical Engineering at the University of Akron before leaving college to pursue his first business venture in commercial construction. A serial entrepreneur and inventor, he went on to establish several additional companies and consulting firms, while also securing multiple patents in industrial IoT technology.

He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Gray; and his children, Justin, Zach, Jesse, and Abigail. He was preceded in death by his father, Glen Gray.

A celebration of Paul’s life, followed by a repast, will be held at Firestone Country Club, 452 East Warner Road, Akron, OH, on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at 4:00 p.m.
