Paula E. Natemeyer, 99, of Sugar Bush Knolls, OH, died peacefully at her home on Sunday, May 26, 2013.
She was born March 24, 1914 in Stuttgart, Germany to Frederick and Pauline (Hess) Oberacker.
She came to America as a fourteen year old and attended school and worked in Cleveland, Ohio, where she met her husband and lovingly reared her family. She was a 50 year member at Grace Lutheran Church in Cleveland Heights, Ohio until she moved to Kent in 1989. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Kent and was active in the Altar Guild.
She is survived by son, Dr. Walter (Mona) Natemeyer of Houston, TX; daughters, Eleonore N. Snyder of Sugar Bush Knolls, Marian (George) Frank of Geneva, IL; grandchildren, Dr. Paula J. Snyder of Sugar Bush Knolls, OH, Julia (Dr. Eric) Ornella of Cincinnati, OH, George F. Frank of Boca Raton, FL, Dr. Jean (Dr. Mark) O'Banion of Dublin, OH, Darren (Jennifer) Natemeyer of Santa Rosa, CA, and Christine (Marc) Walanka of Chicago, IL; twelve great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernst Natemeyer; son, Fred E. Natemeyer; brother, Fred W. Oberacker; son-in-law, Dr. Philip J. Snyder; and
grandchild, Ann Snyder Britton.
The family acknowledges with grateful appreciation the compassionate and excellent care provided by her caregivers at home and the Robinson Hospice nurses and staff.

Calling hours will be held 10-11 AM Saturday, June 1st at Faith Lutheran Church, 931 E. Main Street Kent, OH, where funeral services will be held at 11 AM with Pastor Kent Wartick officiating.
