Perry B. Galizio, 88, formerly of Brimfield, died Sunday, March 29, 2015 at Altercare of Hartville.
He was born March 1, 1927 in Akron to Ben and Fonda (Zito) Galizio. Perry worked as a meat cutter for Brown Derby then after retiring, he packed groceries at ACME #7 in Kent. He will be remembered for his ability to live life, laugh often and love deeply every day of his life. He taught his family to look up and appreciate the beauty of life.
He is survived by his wife, Janet M. (Clark), whom he married on January 27, 1972; daughters, Carolyn (Kim) Galizio of Kent and Beth (Bob) Andrews of Brimfield; grandchildren, Christopher (Elyse) Galizio, Benjamin (Tionna) Galizio, Melissa (Brian Zupan) Andrews, and Laura (David Spano) Andrews; great grandchildren, Lella Galizio, Emilia Galizio, Mae Galizio, and Edwin Galizio; sister, Lucille (Alvah) Spicer of Uniontown; brother, Ben (Carole) Galizio of Glendora, CA; sister-in-law, Audrienne Galizio of Kent; many adored nieces and nephews and special friends, Clark and Theresa Stouffer. He was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Galizio; and sister, Helen Tagliaferri.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, April 2nd at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home in Kent with Kevin O'Brien officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the services. Burial will be held at Standing Rock Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Coleman Adult Day Services (PASS), 6695 N. Chestnut Street, Ravenna, OH 44266.
