Phillip Mondry

Phillip Mondry, 81, of Kent, passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at Regent of Stow. He was born and raised in Cleveland on August 3, 1943 and was a 1964 graduate of West Tech High School. He used his technical skills in printing for over 50 years, including at the Cleveland Press.

Phil enjoyed spending time with family, watching and playing sports such as golf, baseball, basketball and bowling and working on cars. He always said, “I never met a donut I didn’t like.”

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Matthew and his brother John.

Phillip leaves his loving wife of 39 years Christine; sons, Michael and Martin; stepchildren, Cameron (Karen) Divella and Holly (Thomas) Cartwright; grandchildren, Samantha, Andre and Cheyenne; and his sisters-in-law June Mondry and Evalyn (Michael) Glenn.

In honoring his wishes, Phillip will be cremated and remembered in a small private ceremony, held at a later date.
