Phillip James Peachock, 65, of Kent, died Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at Hospice Care Center in Copley.
He was born April 15, 1948 in Youngstown to Phillip and Lillian (Mashiska) Peachock. He was a veteran of the Army during the Vietnam War. Phillip was the founder and owner of Spin-More Records in Kent, which provided music to the students and residents of the community over four decades. He was an avid Cleveland Indians fan and his greatest passion in life was spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy J. (Wallace), whom he married on August 16, 1969; sons, Phillip J. (Rosanna Carlson) Peachock Jr. of Akron, Mark A. (Marlo Silver) Peachock of Hudson, and Charles S. Peachock of Twin Lakes; grandchildren Cameron, Dylan and Alexis Peachock; and sister, Maryann Chacon of Youngstown.
