Richard Steven Hutterer; born September 11, 1953 in Szeged Hungary, passed away in UH Hospitals from cancer, and related complications on May 22, 2020.
Richard leaves behind his mother, Maria Belle Hutterer; his dear art school friend, and ex-wife, Heidi Horvath; and three sons, Theodore, Charles, and Adam. He was preceded in death by his father, Ferenc Hutterer.
Richard lived in New York City with his immigrant parents from the age of 3; moving to Kent Ohio in 1975. Richard chose art over science, receiving his BFA in 1984 from Kent State. He always possessed the gift of being able to perfect anything that he chose to learn. Richard put his artistic ability, creative knowledge, dedication, and persistence into all projects he chose to take-on, uniquely designing their residence in Twin Lakes. He retired from Orange City Schools' Department of Maintenance after thirty years of service.
Because of this early departure he will be missed by his mother and her siblings, his sons and their mother, and his friends in the workplace. Private services will be held. Burial will be in Standing Rock Cemetery. Services in care of Bissler & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory, 628 West Main Street, Kent, OH 44240.
