Robert E. "Bob" Carlton, 62, of Ravenna, died Saturday, July 10, 2010 at Akron City Hospital Medical Center in Akron. He was born October 12, 1947 in Hamilton to Phillip F. and Louisa (Moreschi) Carlton. He was a 1965 graduate of Theodore Roosevelt High School in Kent. He worked as an auto Salesman and Service Manager for many area Auto Dealers. He had a love of speed, mainly dragsters and hotrods; and his love for East Park. He is survived by sons, Michael Carlton of Akron, Matthew Reichard of Ravenna, and Brian Carlton of Ravenna; daughters, Anna (Gary) Workman of Ravenna and Nicole Reichard of Ravenna; grandchildren, Kaden Carlton, Bryce Livengood, Taylor Reichard, Jared Williams, Harrison Kaehne, Ty Reichard, Halei Workman, Morgan Workman, and Landon Workman. He was preceded in death by his sister, Ilene Carlton in 1942. The family would like to thank Dr. Seliga, her staff, and the Portage County Kidney Center. Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 14th from 7-9 P.M. at Bissler and Son's Funeral Home & Crematory, 628 West Main Street, Kent. Private burial will be in Standing Rock Cemetery.
