Robert Andrew Honeychuck, 88, of Kent, passed away on January 24, 2021. Bob was born on January 26, 1932 to Andrew and Elizabeth Honeychuck in Kent, Ohio.
He graduated in 1950 from Kent Roosevelt High School. Bob was drafted by the Army in 1952 and became a Paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne. He returned to Kent to start a career as a contractor for over 30 years. He purchased a farm in 1960 in Brimfield which he enjoyed. He then married MaryAnn (Gienke) Honeychuck in 1962 and they had two daughters. Bob and MaryAnn enjoyed many years together traveling to South America, Europe and many foreign countries. His favorite spot was Munich, Germany for the Oktoberfest. Bob returned to sky diving at the age of 65 making 106 jumps until his final one at the age of 78. Bob was a supporter of the Brimfield Food Bank and other charities for many years. He especially liked to donate to Suffield Schools in honor of his late wife MaryAnn who taught there for 30 years.
Bob is survived by his daughters, Laurie Honeychuck and Lisa (Scot) Favorite. Bob was preceded in death by his loving wife of 48 years, MaryAnn Honeychuck, and his sister, Louise Hilbrunner.

Graveside Service will be held 1:30 P.M. Friday, January 29 at Restland Cemetery. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the Brimfield Food Bank, 1235 Tallmadge Road, Kent, Ohio 44240 (234) 817-1284.
