Robert Edward Ondrejko, 45, of Mantua, died suddenly Monday, July 5, 2010 at Robinson Memorial Hospital. He was born June 12, 1965 in Ft. Walton Beach, FL to Carol (Sanner) Rankin. He was a veteran of the Air Force serving during the Panama Conflict . Robert worked as a Sous Chef at the Las Vegas Hilton and most recently showed his love for the elderly in the Activities Department at Maple Wood Care Center. He loved cars and computers. Robert was known as a die-hard Dallas Cowboy fan. He is survived by his wife, Katherine(Carver) Ondrejko, whom he married on June 13, 2007; sons, Cody Ondrejko of Las Vegas, NV, Cory Ondrejko of Las Vegas, Kyle Hallowich of California and Timothy Armstrong of Bridgeport; daughters, Ashley Armstrong of Bridgeport and Kayla Armstrong of Bridgeport; mother and dad, Carol and Wayne Rankin; brothers, Ed Rankin of North Kingsville, Michael (Amanda) Ondrejko of Ravenna and, Timothy (Robin) Rankin of Akron; sisters, Tracy (Steve) Dennis of Montville, Nicole (Don) Watkins of Akron and Jamie (Kyle) Geese of Cambridge; father and mother in law, John and Barbara Carver of Macomb, MI; sister in law, Susie (Lester) Reed of Clinton Township, MI; and brother-in-law, John (Christina) Carver of Kernersville, NC. He was preceded in death by his sister, Kimberly Ondrejko. Calling hours will be held 1-3 and 6-8 PM Friday, July 09 at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory in Kent, OH. In lieu of Flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Family c/o Bissler & Sons Funeral, 628 W. Main Street, Kent, OH 44240.
