Ronald Edward Crow, 78, of Stow, died Thursday, September 3, 2015 at Hospice Care Center.
He was born May 8, 1937 in Cameron, WV to Edward and Ruth (Franklin) Crow. He was a veteran of the Air Force during the Korean War. Ronald retired in 1991 from Chrysler as a Fire and Security Officer union local #167. He was a member of the American Legion Post #496 in Kent, Moose Lodge 918, Knights of Columbus and the Royal Paraders Marching Corps.
He is survived by his wife, Flora Jean (Stefan) Crow, whom he married on July 7, 1956; sons, Jeffrey Crow of Stow and Steven (Tracey) Crow of Jacksonville, FL; daughters, Kathleen (Daniel) Francini of Stow, Traci Crow of Stow and Sherrie (Kurt) Baker of Barberton; grandchildren, Brittany (Matt) Hirschfelt, Anthony (Rebekah) Francini, Spencer Crow, Ashley Coleman, Alicia Keller, Rachel Francini, Samantha Coleman-Massingo, Stefanie Keller and Tiffany Keller; great grandchildren, Logan Salter, Brooklynn Coleman and Bentley Massingo.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Doctors and staff of the Akron General Hospice Care Center for their kind and loving care.
Calling hours will be held 3-5 and 7-9 PM Monday, September 14th and Tuesday September 15th, at 11 AM with services at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory in Kent, starting at 12:00 PM. Burial will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at a later date.
