Our Dad, or Big Ron as most people knew him, was a jack of all trades, he was never afraid of hard work or getting his hands dirty. Many family stories revolve around his experiences on the job. Dad worked as a mechanic fixing everything from bikes to cars to appliances and was at one time a service technician for Myers Home Service. Dad worked for several companies as a big rig tow driver on the Ohio turnpike. During this time he also learned the trades of rigging and welding. Finally, Dad's adventurous spirit took hold and he drove semi delivering freight all across the country, sometimes taking one of us with him. He retired from Kuntzman Trucking in Alliance.
Dad was also an avid Harley Davidson collector and biker! He was often seen wearing one of his many shirts and riding his 1979 Super Glide. His boys, following in his footsteps, developed this same love of Harleys and can often be seen on the open road riding their own Harley Davidsons. Our fondest memories are riding together on back roads laughing and enjoying the wind in our hair.
Dad's greatest joy came from his three sons, his daughters-in-law, whom he often referred to as, "the daughters he never had," and his three grandchildren. He will be greatly missed.
