Rose Marie (Tassone) Sycz

Rose Marie Sycz, 93, of Munroe Falls, passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2024.  She was born in Hooversville, PA on July 7, 1930 to the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Kovack) Tassone and was a graduate of Kent State High School.  She enjoyed traveling, going to the beach, cooking and baking.  Rose was a collector of depression glass and loved going to flea markets with her husband Steve.  Family meant everything to Rose, and she will always be remembered as a loving and caring mother, grandmother and sister.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Sycz on January 18, 2005; brothers, Sam, Bill, Joe and Mike; sisters, Elizabeth and Franny; and her special niece Beverly Houck.

Rose leaves her son Steven Sycz of Munroe Falls; daughter Debra (Greg) Laubert of Bear Creek, NC; granddaughter Holly (Scott) Bingham of Asheboro, NC; sister Mary Ann Laubert and sister-in-law Mary Tassone.

Funeral services will be FRIDAY, February 2, 2024 at 1:00PM at Bissler and Sons Funeral Home, 628 W. Main St. Kent, OH 44240.  Interment will follow at Standing Rock Cemetery.  Calling hours will be THURSDAY (TONIGHT), February 1, 2024 from 5:00-7:00PM at the funeral Home.
