Sally A. Kayle, 77, of Brimfield, died Thursday, October 6, 2011, at Lake Med in Painesville.
She was born December 31, 1933, in Cleveland, Ohio, to George and Nellie (Meilunaise) Pechulis, and grew up in Lorain, Ohio. Sally was a member of St. Patrick Church in Kent. She was employed by Kent State University in the 1960s as a secretary and later in life she was employed by Archbishop Hoban High School in Akron as an assistant in the Treasurer's Department. She assisted with the Associates of St. Joseph, bingo, Octoberfest and concessions at Archbishop Hoban High School. She enjoyed baking, gardening, fishing, sewing, crafts and bowling.
She is survived by son, Kevin (Shelley) Kayle of Painesville; daughter, Sheila (John) Wallace of New Albany; grandchildren, Jared Kayle, Tori Wallace, Alex Wallace and Kate Wallace. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Kayle; and brother, George Pechulis.
Calling hours will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Thursday, October 13th, 2011 at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home in Kent. Funeral mass will be held 10:00 AM Friday, October 14th at St. Patrick Church in Kent. Private burial will be held at Calvary Cemetery in Lorain.
