Shirley A. Bachman

Shirley A. Bachman, 88, of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away on Monday, April 15, 2024 following an extended illness.  She was born in Cleveland on September 19, 1935 to the late George and Hazel Kemp and was a 1953 graduate of Stow High School.  Shirley was employed at Kent Quality Care as a nurse’s aide for many years.  She will always be remembered as a wonderful mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert L. Bachman on January 24, 2017 and her daughter Karen Lynn Bachman.

Shirley leaves her children, Robert Bachman Jr. of Kent, Craig (Shirley) Bachman of Cuyahoga Falls and Joni Bachman of Ravenna; grandchildren, Jennifer Rexroad, Shawn Bachman, Heather Bailey and Rawheem; and her dog Rocco.

Visitation will be Friday, April 19, 2024 from 10:00-11:00AM at Bissler and Sons Funeral Home, 628 W. Main St. Kent, OH 44240.  Graveside services will follow at 11:30AM on Friday at Standing Rock Cemetery.
