Shirley Sue (Taylor) Dillon

Shirley Sue Dillon, age 77, of Kent, OH, passed away after a long battle with dementia surrounded by family on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at her home.

Shirley was born March 27, 1946 in Massillon, OH to the late Harry and Wilma (Holdren) Taylor.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Lanty Dillon Sr.; her daughter, Stacy (Ike) Moledor; her son Lanty (Sherry) Dillon Jr.; her brother Gale Taylor; her sisters Bonnie (Jeff) Miller, Debbie Richards (Taylor) and Teresa (Ronnie) Taylor; her grandchildren Brett (Christina) Baker Sr., Shelly Baker, Amber (Brandon) Bridgewater and Brooke (Manuel) Dowdle; along with 4 great grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her 3 brothers and 1 sister.

Shirley retired from K-Mart in Kent after 20 years of service. She loved the casino and playing cards with her family. She was the “Keno Queen”. She loved music and dancing. She had the greatest love for her family.

A small celebration of life will be held at her home, 1975 Merrill Rd, Kent on Saturday 12/2 from 4pm to 6pm.
