Stella Theresa Giovangnoli, 100, of Kent, died Monday, April 29, 2013 at Heather Knoll.
She was born January 27, 1913 in Cleveland, to Frank and Bessie (Wronska) Pudloski. Stella was employed as a cook at Davey Junior High School. She was a member of St. Patrick Church, Catholic Daughters of America, Infant Jesus of Prague Guild, the Christopher Columbus Auxiliary, and the Young at Heart club.
She is survived by daughters, Nancy (Robert) Linden of Ravenna and Carol Bahr of Medina; seven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and sister, Martha Loos of Brimfield. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gwelfo "Cappy" Giovangnoli; brothers, Roman and Raymond Pudloski.
Calling hours will be held 5-8 PM Wednesday, May 1st at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home in Kent. Funeral mass will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, May 2nd at St. Patrick Church with Father Richard Pentello officiating. Burial will be held at Standing Rock Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Patrick's School Endowment Fund, 127 Portage Street, Kent, OH 44240 or St. Patrick's Church Memorial Fund, 313 N. DePeyster Street, Kent, OH 44240.
