Susan Waugh

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Susan Waugh on March 5, 2025.

She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Wilhelmine Buchanan; her sons, Jeffery and David; and her husband James Waugh MD. She is survived by her daughter-in-law Shelly; grandchildren, Benjamin, Mathew, and Maggie; and nephews Duncan Buchanan and David Buchanan III.

Susan was born in Akron, Ohio on December 12, 1939. She attended Old Trail School and later graduated from Denison University in 1961. She enjoyed gardening, entertaining friends and family and was an avid golfer and reader. Susan volunteered numerous hours at Robinson Memorial Hospital. Above all, she had an enormous love for her family and a generous heart. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In honoring her wishes, Susan will be cremated and laid to rest at Standing Rock Cemetery.
