Tamera J. “Tami” Haas, 55, of Cuyahoga Falls passed away, unexpectedly, on Saturday, November 20, 2021. She was born in Cuyahoga Falls on July 15, 1966 and was a 1984 graduate of Kent Roosevelt High School. Tami went on to earn her Associate’s Degree from Stark Tech in 1987.
She was employed as a medical coding auditor for Lexicode and was a member of the Ohio Health Information Management Association. She enjoyed football and was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes and Miami Redhawks fan. Tami was an animal lover, especially dogs and an avid music lover. She enjoyed going to concerts and traveling. Tami had a heart of gold, and she will be deeply missed and never forgotten by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her father Richard Haas; grandmother Lois Elliott; uncle Garry King aunt Sunnie Stutzman and uncle Robert “Bobby” King.
Tami is survived by her mother Sally Schumann; sister and brother-in-law Tanya and Dan Salopek; nephew Matthew Salopek; niece Danielle Salopek; cousins, Stacy Reder, Arin Gilbert, Casey (Annie) King, Justin (Jen) King, Kelley (Gary) Labajetta and Thomas (Patty) Reder; uncle Don (Susan) King and aunts, Amanda King and Barb King.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 29, 2021 at 1:00PM at The United Methodist Church of Kent, 1435 E. Main St. Kent, OH 44240, with the Rev. Dr. David Palmer officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 11:00AM-1:00PM on Monday at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made, in her name, to the Madonio Family Animal Welfare Trust, 1204 Tallmadge Rd. Kent, OH 44240.
