Violet Ohman, 85, of Rootstown, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 15, 2014. She was born on November 23, 1928 in Moundsville, WV to Frank and Elizabeth Rhome. Violet enjoyed art, cards, puzzles, quilting, music, and quiet summer evenings spent sitting on her front porch.
Violet is survived by her beloved spouse, Andy Ohman, to whom she was married for 60 years. She is the endeared mother of Andi Frescura of Kent; Vern Ohman of Akron; Andy (Pam) Ohman, Jr. of Massillon; Larry (Diane) Ohman of Rootstown; and Louis (Paulette) Ohman of Akron; 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sister, Jean Willis of Minerva, and brother, Frank Rhome of Homeworth. She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Emmie, Delbert, Betty Jo and Ralph (Toby).
