Virginia "Ginny" Lee Martin Frazier, 81, passed away Friday, January 23, surrounded by family.
She was born July 2, 1933 in Pulaski County, VA, the daughter of the late Edgar and Estella Underwood Martin. Mrs. Frazier retired from Kent City Schools.
She faced her long illness with courage and strength, and thought more of others than herself. Nothing was more important to Ginny than family and friends, and she encouraged everyone to "have more fun. Life is too short." She leaves a legacy of love.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Frazier; infant daughter Wanda; brothers Ralph (Ethel) Martin, Edward, McKinley (Arlene) Martin, Bert (Betty) Martin; sisters Pauline (Bill) Chrisley, Annie (Raymond) Ratcliffe, Eula (Richard) Lawson, Ruth (Ray) Wall.
She is survived by sons Thomas (Diana) Frazier of Ravenna, John Frazier of Masury; daughters Deborah Frazier of Kent, Ginny (Mark) Moore of Tallmadge; brother Otis (Nancy) Martin of Draper, VA; sisters Juanita (the late Will) Davis of Dublin, VA, Brenda (Wayne) Jarrells of Hiawassee, VA; grandchildren Gail Pinter (Brian) Hunt, Brandon Woodson, Christina Woodson, Matthew Moore, Kera Frazier (Mark) Turner, Ethan (Aileen) Moore, Patrick Frazier, Austin Moore; great grandchildren Josh Hunt, Orion Turner, Riley Turner. She also leaves behind her best friends and adopted Ohio family, Bob and Yvonne Riggenbach, and their children, Rindy, Rhonda, Rick and Rod, along with many other friends and family members.
Memorial service will be held 6:00 PM Wednesday, January 28th at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home in Kent, where calling hours will be held from 4 to until the time of service. Inurnment will be held Wednesday, January 28th at Grandview Memorial Park at 3:00 PM.
