Wilda Henry, 99, of Kent, died Sunday, June 28, 2015 at the Gables at KentRidge.
She was born May 20, 1916 in Washington, PA to Wayne and Mary E. (Herron) Keeney. She was formerly a member of the First Christian Church of Washington, PA and currently a member of the Kent United Methodist Church. Before her marriage, she was a clerk/bookkeeper at Paul's Grocery in Washington, PA. After her husband's retirement, they moved to Kent. She enjoyed many hobbies, travelling, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her son, Jack (Peggy) W. Henry of Kent; daughter, Bonny (Floyd) Brock of Washington, PA; grandchildren, Heather (Todd) VanOrman of Rootstown, Jay (Julie) Henry of Pickerington; great grandchildren, Cori VanOrman, Max VanOrman, Jacob Henry and Jillian Henry; and nephew, Bill (Becky) Kurp of Washington, PA. She was preceded in death by her husband, W. Paul Henry and sister, Bernie Kurpjuweit.

Calling hours will be held 7-9 PM Tuesday, June 30th at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home in Kent where funeral services will be held 12:00 PM Wednesday, July 1st with Rev. Dr. David Palmer officiating. Burial will be held at Standing Rock Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Harbor Light Hospice, 25 South Main Street, Munroe Falls, OH 44262.
