William McMullen, 60, of Brady Lake, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 28, 2018, after a courageous 16 months battle with cancer.
He was born June 30, 1958 in Ravenna, to Walter and Connie (Grafton) McMullen.
Bill lived in Ohio for most of his life while living in California for a short time. Bill started roofing at age 14, and he retired early from Local 88 Roofers Union due to illness. Bill enjoyed spending time with his daughter and niece Alicia, working around the house, and playing cards.
He is survived by his daughter, Billie Jo McMullen of Kent; mother, Connie (Grafton) McMullen of Brady Lake; ex-wife, Lisa McMullen of Kent; brothers, Pete McMullen of Florida, Tom (Debbie) McMullen of Brady Lake, David (Darcy) McMullen of Edmond, OK and Rick (Annette) McMullen of Brimfield; step-sisters, Becky Tymcio, Tanya Ashbaugh, Jodie Miller; step-brothers, Terry McMullen; Jeremie Clifford, and Stacy. He was preceded in death by his father, Walter McMullen, grandmother, Laura Grafton, and grandfather, Kenneth Grafton.
Calling hours will be held 3-5 PM Thursday, August 2 at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home in Kent. Funeral services will be held 5:00 PM Thursday, August 2 at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home with Minister Bill Hopkins officiating.
