William Lloyd "Billy" Milton, 57, of Brimfield, died Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at his residence. He was born August 6, 1953 to Thomas and Betty A. (Jacobs) Milton II. He was a 1971 graduate of Theodore Roosevelt High School. In his lifetime Billy worked as a parts manager for Chapman Excavating, Ravens Trailers for several years and currently was employed with the Kent City Schools since August 2001 and as the head custodian at Davey Elementary since September 2006. Billy was an avid gardener, who loved to share his vegetables with the family, friends and neighbors. He had a love for car mechanics and at anytime could be found in his garage rebuilding or fixing an engine or anything mechanical. He loved to travel to car shows and venture to Amish country on occasion. He is survived by brothers, Thomas Milton III of Kent, Todd Milton of Newark, DE; sister, Susan Milton of Lancaster, PA; nephews, Tommy Milton and James Milton; nieces, Lesley Milton, Theresa Milton, and Kathryn Milton; former sister-in-law, Katie Milton; a host of cousins; and special friend, Ruth Wheeler. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Betty (Jacobs) Milton II; and brother, Dennis A. Milton. Friends and family visitation will be on Monday August 30th from 2-4 and 6-8PM at Bissler and Sons Funeral Home in Kent, with a memorial service on Tuesday, August 31st at 11:00AM.
