William Robert Novak

William R. Novak, 98, of Dover, passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at Community Hospice Truman House in New Philadelphia, OH.  He was born in Alliance, OH on April 24, 1925 to the late William and Mary Novak.

He was employed as a truck driver for several years.  William enjoyed bowling, golf, fishing, camping and watching sports on TV.  He will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Novak; son William Novak Jr; brothers John and Joe Novak; and sisters Catherine Kovalcik and Anna Babaric.

He leaves his daughter Linda S. (William) Trimmer of Palmetto, FL; son James M. Novak of North Canton, OH; grandchildren, Chris (Melissa) Trimmer, Rebecca (Andrew) Congdon and Jodi (John) Crawford; and 10 great grandchildren.

In honoring his wishes, there will be no services and a private burial will take place at Standing Rock Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest with his wife.
