Richard Bobrowicz, 71, of Kent, died in the saddle, doing what he loved, on Thursday, April 18, 2024. He was born in Portage, PA on July 14, 1952 to the late John and Susan Bobrowicz and was a 1970 graduate of Kent Roosevelt High School. Richard had a career as a precision machinist for 50 years, owning and operating Professional Grinding Inc for the last 30 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, downhill skiing, cycling and motorcycles. Richard gave up hunting when he became a horse owner 30 years ago. He loved his horses dearly and it became more of a passion for him.
Richard leaves his loving wife, constant companion and best friend Sherry Bobrowicz; son Chris Bobrowicz; daughter Carla Bobrowicz; one grandchild; sister Jean Sweet; brother Don Bobrowicz and his beloved horse Roanie.
In honoring his wishes, Richard will be cremated and there will be no formal services. A Celebration of Life will be planned for later this spring.
